The body shop Color Crush lipstick

Welcome to my blog this is going to be first ever post and i am super excited to review one of my favourite brands The body shop.I have been on a hunt of good red  lipsticks in different variations,since the body shop is 100% vegetarian that encouraged me to pick three Colour crush lipsticks, i have to be honest with you i had very high expectations from the lipsticks but i was left slightly disappointed after the use,read on further why?

• 115 – Enraptured Red.
• 101 – Red Siren.
• 201-Red Hot Raspberry.

It retails for 1490 Pkr/$12.50 for 0.12 oz (3.5 g)

Product Description:

Packaging:

The new colour crush lipstick comes in a translucent red cap and silver bullet packaging with numbers and others details printed on the bottom of the lipstick.They could have done a better job in the quality of the packaging ,i have mine for a few months and the silver at the bottom is already chipping off.

Swatches: 

                               201-Red Hot Raspberry,101 – Red Siren,115 – Enraptured Red

Pros:

• Mild scent 
• Rich pigmented colours.

Cons:

• Packaging- looks cheap compared to other drug store brand lipsticks.
• Price-double than other drugstore brands but nothing amazing about the product.

My Thoughts:The colours that i picked were in shades of red and pink , the pigmentation of the product is amazing,However i did have an issue with the longevity of the product staying on my lips.It does not stay for more than two hours and if you eat or drink it might not even stay for that long.Considering it retails for 1490 PKR i was highly disappointed with how the staying power is so poor .They are very moisturizing,and they might bleed around the lip area if you have oily skin.I am still making them work for me by applying one coat and covering it up with my face powder or concealer and applying another coat.This method increased the amount of hours it stayed on.Since i mostly buy my lipsticks due to the colour payoff and the staying power ,I do not recommend these lipsticks because you can find similar colours in better quality in other brands and in cheaper price.
